ADVANCE CaptiveSpray Source for Thermo Minimize

The ADVANCE™ CaptiveSpray™ is the second-generation spray source with a new design that delivers unmatched sensitivity,  resists plugging, and provides reproducible uninterrupted flow for even the most complex proteome samples.  The CaptiveSpray source mounts directly onto most Thermo Scientific mass spectrometers, providing nanospray sensitivity with the ease of use and robustness of ESI.

Features:

0.5 – 5 uL/min optimal flow rate

 0.2 – 20 uL/min flow rate range

Internal connections

Rugged non-plugging design

Plug-and-Play

No XYZ Stage adjustments

No Cameras

Thermo MS Compatibility:

LTQ, LXQ Linear Ion Traps

LCQ Fleet 3D Ion Trap

Quantum Ultra, Vantage triple quadrupoles

LTQ-FT, LTQ Orbitrap hybrid MS

Exactive Orbitrap

 Velos, Velos Pro

Q-Exactive

 Orbitrap Elite

100 amol BSA  (top-45 minutes, bottom 4.5 minutes)

The CaptiveSpray source allows higher flows, resulting in faster runs with shorter solvent delay. The ability to use larger columns with higher loading capacities provides higher sensitivity than conventional packed-tip nanospray sources.
